Tattoos can be removed gradually over a series of sessions using a laser, the results will vary based on the size and colour of the tattoo. Many people choose to have a tattoo ‘made lighter’ with a few sessions in order to have it successfully covered over with a new tattoo.
How does it work?
The energy from the laser breaks down the tattoo ink into tiny fragments, which are eventually absorbed naturally and safely passed out of the body. Due to the way the ink is absorbed, larger areas will need to be divided up and treated over separate sessions.
